To become a member of the Boise Ridge Riders, you will need to apply.
You can apply in writing or verbally at one of the club meetings. Your
membership application to become a "prospective" member must include a
one time, non-refundable $25 membership application fee given to the BRR
treasurer. The application merely needs to state, "I wish to become a
member of the Boise Ridge Riders". You will then be given Prospective Member status and added to our membership
roster as such. To gain full membership status, the "prospective" member then
must assist in the Idaho City ISDE Qualifier, including preparation and cleanup. The club members will review your application at the club meeting immediately
after the event and will vote to approve or deny full membership. You cannot be
voted in as a "full" member until you have worked one of our Idaho City 100 ISDE
Qualifier events. There are no age, sex, race, or other restrictions on becoming a member of the
Boise Ridge Riders. You don't even have to know how to ride a motorcycle. We are
looking for people who are interested in trail maintenance work, who enjoy being
outdoors (regardless of the weather)and who enjoy camping. Once you become a member, you are a member for life. There are no yearly membership
renewal fees or any other fees imposed on members. You may ask to be removed from the
active membership at any time. No questions asked. You will then be added to our inactive roster.
Active membership can be re-instated at any time at the request of the inactive member. There are benefits to being a Boise Ridge Rider. Your benefits include We hold a monthly meeting on every 2nd Tuesday of the month, at 7:30 pm. We presently meet at Cobby's Sandwich Shop, 4348 Chinden Blvd., Garden City, ID.
